Art and painting in particular is my connection to an authentic self.
Because I'm creative and through painting I have my method to expand my world without conflicting with the worlds of other creatives. As a vehicle through creativity and painting in particular I can be political without prejudices, I'm comfortable without logic, I'm noisy without sound, secular and infinitely religious, I'm disciplined yet conform to no rules.
At it's essence art is the creative spirit assigned to humans, we speak it, we walk it, we perform it, we paint it, we write it, we love it and sometimes despise it and each time it suggests how, why, when and where we are.
I choose life therefore I paint.
